Never got my free tank of gas. They have been giving me the runaround for a month. I am considering this a sales scam and will express my dissatisfaction in social media

Did not honor sales agreement at the time of purchase for 2 free tanks of gas. This is the 3rd car I have purchased from them; it will be the last.
I questioned them several times about the gas and was told it's too late to get a free tank of gas. Be careful of this SCAM!

I’ve bought two vehicles in 3 years. This place really has issues
My wife and I were lied to and manipulated with the purchase of the New SUV Ford Edge 2017 by the sales team and finance at Huntington Beach Ford Dealer on Sunday June 25th, 2017
The whole experience purchasing a new car at Huntington Beach Ford Dealership is like a nightmare to me and my wife. We just looked for an honest deal when we stepped in Huntington Beach Ford Dealership, but fell victim to their scam.
We were lied to and manipulated on our newly purchased SUV Ford Edge 2017. They are supposed to honor and accurately run our monthly installment based on the agreed amount on our trade-in car, the agreed interest rate, but they did not; not to mention they fraudulently added an extended warranty and protection package to the new purchased car without disclosing. That made our monthly installment a lot higher than it should be. Below is what exactly happened in details: On Sunday June 25th, 2017 – I came across the advertising on Orange County Register Newspapers with the big sales on the SUVs including incentives/discounts/cash rebates.
I drove my wife to the Huntington Beach Ford Dealership and we met with the salesman Mario Smith, did a test drive on the Ford Edge SUV and liked it. We told Mario if he could work out a good deal on an SUV like the ones advertised and we can do the trade-in with the current Ford Fusion Sport 2010 we were driving. We spent a long time negotiating, going back and forth regarding the number on our trade-in car, from low two thousand and up. I expressed if the trade- in value was so low we would walk out and would not make a deal at all.
After a while he offered us our car at $5,000.00. At the moment, our Ford Fusion Sport 2010 was valued according to Kelly Bluebook is ranging from around $3,000.00 - $5,000.00 and in some other car websites they are selling similar cars at the market price ranging from $6,000.00 - $8,000.00; it seemed to be a fair deal so we agreed with their offer of $5,000.00 for our trade-in value. We then went through with the salesman on the interest rate, down payment and discounts/incentives. We waited when Mario was going back and forth with his manager to run our numbers.
Mario came back and said our monthly payment is about $495.00 a month. We told him it would be too much for us that we can’t make a deal. Again I told Mario that I have excellent credit score the dealership could give us a better interest rate at $3.5%. Then Mario said if we could do a bit more with the down payment, we agreed to put down $6,500.00 on our credit card for the down payment ($1,500.00 more, instead of $5,000.00) and if he could give us better interest rate at 3.5%.
Mario talked to his manager and said that we got a deal with 3.5% interest rate and our monthly payment came down to $365.00. In summary, we agreed on $5,000.00 on our trade-in Ford Fusion Sport, $6,500.00 down payment, 3.5% interest rate plus the incentives. We sat down finally around 5pm with the finance manager Max Babaie. We paid our down payment of $6,500.00 with credit card.
Max said that it was a long day for him and we said it was a long day for us too. Max told us just to sign and initial here and there, and we can be done quickly. Max engaged us with small talks about other things, did not go through with any numbers at all, and only pointed on where we should sign and initial. Believing the sale contract was correct, we signed and initialed just as he told us.
Later at night I opened the sale contract in order to take a picture so we can send it to our insurance agent on the next day. This time, my wife and I looked a bit closer to the contract and we were shocked to find out two mistakes on the contract: the interest rate is 4.49%, not 3.5% as we agreed and the trade-in value is only $500.00 (five hundred dollars), not $5,000.00 (five thousand dollars) as we agreed on the trade-in value. Later we found that they added an option service of $2,390.00 without disclosing to us. They must have run the numbers wrong so we planned to come early the next day to explain it to them.
On Monday June 26th, 2017 (next day morning) – We drove back to the Huntington Dealership early in the morning and tried to talk about these mistakes we found in the contract. My wife and I went over with the finance manager Max Babaie about the mistakes we found on the contract, especially the $500.00 trade-in made no sense – it must be the typo mistake! We explained to Max that we went back and forth with the salesman Mario a long time and agreed on $5,000.00, and Mario and his manager then ran the number for our monthly installment based on the agreed amount of the trade-in and then we agreed on the 3.5 interest rate at the end. We would have walked out of the deal very early on if the trade-in amount of $500.00 was offered!
I told Max that we would like to cancel it since the agreed amount was incorrect and they ran our number wrong and no one is here now to correct their mistakes. Max told us that he could call the Ford Credit about the interest rate but since I already signed the contract and it would not be very little money. He also said that he cannot cancel the contract since it was already sent overnight to Ford Credit and there’s nothing we can do about it. Max said he only did the finance part, not the one who handled our deal and ran our numbers so he did not know much; Mario and Tony (his manager/supervisor) was the team who took care of us yesterday.
He told us: if there is a mistake on the trade-in amount of the car we can talk to Mario and Tony; Tony is good and he can work it out with us; if we don’t like the trade-in amount we can even buy back our trade-in car with the trade-in amount on the contract. Max told us not to worry and just come back on Wednesday and we can talk to Mario and Tony and they will work something out for us. On Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 – My wife and I came in the Huntington Beach dealership again. We met with our salesman Mario and his manager Tony to explain these mistakes again.
Tony told us that he was not the one who did the numbers on our purchase on Sunday! And he referred another higher manager named Alex who was the one we should be talking to because Alex helped Mario running our numbers and making the deal. My wife and I were so confused and frustrated because this is the second time we came back already and did not get to the right person in charge to talk to. Why can’t they tell us on Monday then?
Again they told us to come back in two day on Friday to talk to manager Alex. Tony assured us that when we come back to the dealership on Friday around 2pm, everyone will be here, Tony, Mario and Alex. He said something like Alex is the manager who can make decision on our case. We did not have any choice but waited and come back on Friday.
On Friday, June 30th, 2017 – My wife and I came around 2pm as told. Waited a long time too until Alex came out and talk to us. Mario was not there as Tony told us. Again we had to explain in details again to Alex and Tony regarding the mistakes on our contract exactly like we explained with the finance manager Max on Monday and with the salesman Mario and the sales manager Tony on Wednesday.
Alex looked at the copy of contract we brought to show him where the mistakes are and he just basically said that we signed the contract and there was nothing wrong with the contract. Tony and Alex shut us down and said our trade in car is worth only $500.00 - we signed the contract and that is it. Alex and Tony basically told us since we signed the contract they can’t do anything because we already signed it. They denied any wrong doing, and walked out on us.
Tony just disrespectfully told us, “a piece of advice I can give you: read the contract before you sign.” Since they did not want to do any at all to resolve the issues with us, we asked Tony if we want to buy back our trade-in car like the Finance manager Max Babaie told us on Monday, but he said they already sold our Ford on that very next Monday. Alex even told us that he was at the dealership on Monday and no one told him! They lied to us, plain and simple! The sale contract is not even valid since they told us lies and committed fraud as well!
We feel so betrayed by the Huntington Beach Ford. They run their business with disregard for ethics and put a bad reputation on the good name of Ford Motors and Ford products. They cheat us of our hard earned money! it is not the way customer should be treated.
My wife and I have been losing sleeps and in so much distress over this experience at Huntington Beach Ford Dealership.
I mailed my complaints (in writing) to Huntington Beach Ford Dealership asking for the following ( a copy of written complaint also sent to Ford Motor Company but they said they "cannot intercede in their day-to-day business practice):. 1/ Refund of $4,500.00 for the remaining of agreed amount that they offered us for our trade-in car 2/ Fixing our finance rate from $4.49% to 3.50% as agreed 3/ Refund of the optional service of $2,390.00 which was not disclosed to us at all I am writing here also with hope that potential buyer would be ware of these manipulating tactics and no one else would be fell in to victims of this type of practice and do not have to go through what my wife and I have gone through at Huntington Beach Ford Dealership.

Lemon car
April 1, 2017, bought 2017 mustang eco boost from HB. Afte 16 mi of driving the engine was smoking black, smelling burnt wirings and over heat alarm came on.
Told us to take to nearest Ford to be check since its covered under warranty. (sleazy advice) Towed back to HB. Demanded replacement car since its only been 30 mins and its smoking black.Told Todd we should hold the check because they sold us a defective car, and doubting the integrity of its engine. Todd threatened us with a lawsuit!!
He said Ford has millions of lawyers, never loses, and we will never win.Told him its ridiculously unbelievable that ford company treat little people like us this way.Today, we spoke with their mechanic, Steve and he said smoke was due to loosened hose that made the coolant leaked. My husband asked him why coolant leak? If fluid is leaking the color of the smoke should be white. Steve responded, he has NO idea why smoke is colored black and why it smelled burnt. Demanded they have to do total stress test on the engine and gave us all documentation of it.
Now I am reading these reviews and shook my head questioning the integrity of the satisfied consumers. We were offered goodies too!! Steve from finance will give us free 2nd oil change and detailing if we give them 100% on survey.
Rene , the salesman , gave us a pass to HB beach. Amazing what freebies can do !!!

Useless Customer Service
Booked a service appointment online, got a receipt but no confirmation. A week later, as my appointment got closer (yes, I had to book a week ahead), I contacted the garage via online chat.
The woman apologised and assured each someone would contact me the next day. Nothing. The next day, my appointment was supposed to be the next day, I had to contact them again. The woman apologised, and said she could see my previous transcript, assured me someone would finitely contact me the next day.
Not much use I told her when I was supposed to be bringing the car in on my way to work. She apologised and said someone would definitely contact me and sort something out. Nothing that day and nothing since. I bought my car from that dealer and it was due to be its first service.
They have zero interest. I am due to replace my wife's car in March - I will buy elsewhere and will never use that dealer again.
Short Review on June&nbs-04:00;15,&nbs-04:00;2016
BEWARE CROOKS...I am latest victim of these crooks Alex & Max! Alex told me he got the manager to throw in 100,000 extended warranty, never mentioned I was being charged for it.
And I didn't ask for it. Max assured me I was not being charged for any options.
My fault, I trusted these jerks and was trying to get the process over with since my son was tired. Take your business elsewhere!
Added on a service contract with out asking me..2495. 00
Told me the used car had a warranty of three years no charge:) Had to fight with Max to get my money back. He said it would take 30 days, then 3 weeks later I read the complaints and went in to see the service manager.
Turned out Max never turned in my request for a refund,It was done right then and I got a check in 9 days for the refund..WARNING>DON`T DEAL WITH MAX he is a crook! The dealer ship knows what he is doing and just says "SO Sorry, your not the first person to tell us that"
Padding Scam
I bought an advertised Fiesta in January, 2014 there. The salesman disclosed to me that the dealer preloaded a LoJack for an extra $795 which I accepted since it was my fault not reading the hard to find fine print in the ad. The big surprise occurred in the finance department where I fell victim to an old scam that I mistakenly thought the government had long eradicated - Padding.
Finance Manager by the name of Max sneakily padded onto the pile of purchasing contract papers an extended service warranty without my knowledge. I did ask him on the spot the total seemed higher than I estimated. He beat around the bush and led me to believe that I underestimated the tax and fees. It was not until I got home and had a chance to review all the paper works, I realized that I paid an extra $1775 for an extended service warranty I never wanted.
I do not appreciate that I had to go through all the trouble to cancel the service warranty and get a refund. I reported this shameful scam to the dealership but never got an apology. I think this scam is sanctioned by Huntington Beach Ford.
Huntington beach ford reap me off , is anyone willing to join me filing a lawsuit ?
i purchased a f250 truck diesel , they did not disclosed to me that i was buying a recall truck , this truck has been more in the shop that on the streets , they did not give a buyers guide ,which is fraud , they did not give me a car fax , which is fraud , they totally lie , plus they sold me a warranty that it does not disclose that it only covers to be fix in their shop !! can you bulieve this ? please dont buy from this crooks im with a lawyer right now waiting for an answer , i will get them ,the way they get me , im contacting news too, so everyone knows how this Dealer operates , plus they ignore my calls , they are so rude , dishonest, they dont have ethic at all , they going to face the law soon

Professional Snakes
I purchased a 2016 F250 with all the bells and whistles with a discounted sales price "so I thought". Well it was at the end of the night and they never went over the papers in detail and I ended up paying maximum cost.
I preoccupied with other things like insurance papers etc.. 3 days later I looked at my paperwork and I realized I paid sticker price. What… I went talk to them after work and they said they had to adjust it because of my credit score and bringing down my monthly payment. I explained I would have walked away if I would have known I was paying sticker price.
Who pays sticker price and is ok with it?? I asked for my money back and we can call it a wash for their dishonesty. Nope! They didn't care.
So it was an $8,000 learning experience that want to share so it doesn't happen to someone else. I'm an honest good person that can be trusted and live my life as others are the same as myself but, I got bit today. Cost of the truck $66,000 credit score 670, down payment $10,000, interest rate 4.9% monthly payment $963 for 74 months. I have owned my own home for the last 13 years and I make 140K a year.
So my closing thoughts are to do you homework ahead of time, read and understand everything, and have a good nights sleep prior to going.
Sorry they did offer me free oil changes and car washes so an extended amount of time but, I declined. I don't ever want to see them again even if it's for something supposedly free.
Preferred solution: what goes around comes around. Good luck:).
Almost stolen from
Alex Barajas in sales led me into finance where they almost had me sign a contract with a $3100 extended warranty in it. Alex tried to keep me engaged in conversation so I would not pay attention.
Really
Wish I knew about this guy before I arrived there.
I'm still very concerned about my credit info being used by employees at the dealer.
Be careful or just don't GO!
Huntington Beach ford is well aware of the conduct of their employees.
Again Alex and the whole organization are corrupt and waiting on the weak and *** to fill their pockets.
Sad group of losers
Excellent service
I went to trade in on a lease and received upstanding care and no nonsense business. I recommend anyone wanting to buy new or used vehicle to buy at Huntington Beach Ford from Dan and Mike.
You will not regret it! I had a great experience and would recommend Dan and Mike to anyone purchasing or leasing. I can not have a higher recommendation. I bought sold and leased vehicles for the last 25 years.
This was the best experience. My dad was a car salesman and I wouldn't trust him for anything. Usually dealers are very sneaky.
Test it for yourself! Dan and Mike, trustworthy men.
- No nonsense
